​Substance Abuse Counselor

If you are are an organized, energetic Substance Abuse Counselor with experience, we’d like to hear from you! Current openings include:

  • Candidates with bachelors degree must have two years experience in D/A field, or a masters degree with one year experience. Solid group skills a must! Part of the interview process includes running a group. Candidates need to be familiar with DDAP regulations and be able to work independently while being at part of a team. Two 40 hour/week positions – evening and day. Exact hours to be determined. Duties include, but not limited to: intake evaluations, chart management, OP/IOP groups and individual sessions, scheduling and dealing with patient and family inquiries. Must be able to maintain files according to DDAP regulations, have used CBT theory and able to practice in it. Reimbursement is competitive and commensurate with education, credentials and experience. LPCs encouraged to apply.   • Master’s level therapists also needed to work with our sex offender and mental health populations.
  • Bachelor’s level therapists considered for some positions including PRN work. Experience in drug and alcohol (one – two years d/a experience needed).

​Our ideal therapists have the ability to work independently, are motivated, detail-oriented and possess solid communication skills and the ability to address and resolve issues without conflict. Must be able to maintain files according to DDAP regulations. Must be well-versed with CBT theory and able to practice in CBT theory.​
